Andrew Graham Beshear, born in 1977 in Louisville, Kentucky, is the son of former Governor Steve Beshear and has served as Governor of Kentucky since 2019 — winning and holding one of the nation's most Republican states. He was reelected in 2023 by nearly 5 points even as Trump carried the state by 30 points. He polls at 9% in the 2028 Democratic primary.
